Tell us a little about yourself and what you do.
I am an artist currently living in Adelaide which is my original home city. Previously i lived in Sydney for 6 years . I have had a passion for art and creativity from an early age and continued to make it part of my life up until today . My mother was a painter also so this passion is in the genes
I originally was trained in traditional watercolour by some excellent artists and teachers.
I then explored other genres including abstract work , sculpture , and installation works
I have exhibited and sold works in a number galleries and art shows throughout the country

Where do you get your inspiration from when you paint?
Inspiration comes from my first brush strokes on the paper then the process evolves
The most important part of my painting for me is to have a very bright palette of colour in front of me
I try to stay with primary colours and mix bright and uplifting paint
What are the five words that people who know you would use to describe you?
creative ,patient ,friendly ,reserved ,but adventurous
Tell us about your very first job and what path have you taken since then?
I worked as a trainee Cartographer in the Mining Industry
Since that time i have pursued various careers including Landscape Gardening and Design ,Sales , Technology and IT businesses

cmHow do you usually plan your daily activities?
I try to paint daily if I can, each morning the 1st thing i do is have a look at the painting I was working on the day before and add something to it
As an artist, what is your biggest frustration?
The logistics of getting works to Exhibitions around the country

Tell us about your up coming group Art exhibition at ArtSHINE Gallery?
This is my 2nd Group Show at ArtSHINE Gallery I am exhibiting my abstract watercolour works
In my abstract work i use watercolour as my medium in an impasto style . With the use of colour, marks ,texture and glazes i create a unique 3D effect .
With my new Contemporary works my aim is push the boundaries in the use of watercolour, exploring and discovering .
Hoping that the viewer is saying to themselves “That can’t be Watercolour !”

Winning the Award of Excellence in 2015 at The Royal Easter Show Sydney
