The Samurai were Warriors of pre-modern Japan. They led their lives according to the Bushido Code (The Way of the Warrior). They became the highest caste of the Edo Period (1603-1867). Their main weapon was the Samurai sword.

These Samurai pieces are, kiln-fired, handmade earthenware clay pieces with leather strapping. There is a cord at the back for convenient hanging.
