This artwork is a celebration of the Lesbian community through its luscious depth of colour and rich symbolism. I have been inspired by the beautiful colours within the Lesbian Pride flag and have chosen peonie and rose blooms that to me represent the yoni, strength and beauty of woman. The triangle shape, originally a symbol of shame and oppression, represents queer liberation and a positive symbol of self identity and the vulva.
