Passion eyes - Gabby Malpas

I’ve been fascinated by passionfruit flowers since I saw them growing up in Auckland. They are said to represent the holy Trinity and passion of Christ but I thought they were very alien looking.

The stamens on these flowers have eyes – as if they are alien beings growing out of a vine.
