I was in Singapore, February 2020 for the opening of my show.
By the time we flew in, Singapore was just locking down to its first ‘circuit breaker’ so the show opening and other planned events were cancelled or completed in a much reduced capacity.

This gave me more time to wander the beautiful Canning Fort park and gardens near our hotel.I was very taken with the climbing philodendrons propagated onto rock walls near the escalators with very little soil or attaching devices - the Singapore climate is so hot and humid that tropical plants can grow seemingly in the air.

This image also includes pitcher plants and bromeliads spotted at Gardens by the Bay with a touch of whimsy with sea creatures flitting about the foliage instead of birds and butterflies
