This piece reveals a little about how my mind works. Everything, like everything else, begins with an idea or ideas. The goal is to avoid being overtaken by them. You will always learn more than you are capable of sharing in your work. The majority of us simply want to paint what we enjoy. What we like isn't as important as how we can connect with people through our work. In my journey to pay homage to women. Nothing beats honouring them through art. I enjoy eliciting a sense of nostalgia. Many layers of ideas and colours.

Here I have an onscreen beauty in feather costumes impersonating the life of another being. She is perched on a vintage camera shaped like a house. The foundation of most dreams and ambitions. This exemplifies the film industry's vulnerability. The light sepia and natural tones in this painting transport you back in time. But it also shows how everything begins with a blank canvas before coming to life.
