The bride-to-be is wearing her traditional heavily adorned headpiece called the Fengguan. (Chinese: 鳳冠; pinyin: fèngguān). This traditional Chinese headgear was worn mainly by noblewomen during the Ming dynasty for ceremonies or official occasions. It is also traditional headgear for brides. Along with brides and her red raging Fengguan, she is staring at the past of the 3 inch Lotus shoe!
