"In spite of her own take on the world and her tendency to dream and not ever quite follow that recipe to it’s end, Gertrude is a THINKER, a PONDERER. Recipes can be so bothersome, and ingredients and measurements a headache! Will Gertrude here perhaps make a cup of tea? Or boil an egg?? This piece was inspired by the idea of us all finding ourselves, sometimes, at cross-roads in life, perhaps we all experience “Gertrude-moments”?
