Biography

Hi! I’m Ky Colquhoun. Also known as Sonny Mac Designs. Those close to me call me Sunshine or Sonny, and, like my art, I’m mostly sweet with a prickly little sense of humour thrown in the mix. Our crew lives, works and plays proudly on Darumbal Country, in a laid back, creative nook on the East Coast of Queensland. Inspiration for my art prints and placement designs start with photographs taken from our eccentric world filled with music, laughter and sunshine. This gives each piece a distinctly abstract, rock and roll vibe, with just a touch of sand under your feet from your last adventure.
