Biography

As a Chinese Australian who has lived in Hong Kong and Japan, Bryan Mew's practice seeks to explore how the study of one’s heritage language—through movement and mindful artistic practice—can serve as a bridge to cultural reconnection. Mew's work has been showcased in various exhibitions across Japan including Tokyo's Meguro Museum of Art, as well as across Australia in Sydney and Melbourne.
